About Us

Since 1995, Karen & Amy have provided their family and friends with the sense of relief of knowing their pets were in safe and loving hands while they were away. As a retirement plan for Amy, she began offering these services to our community.  Quickly, it became obvious that reliable pet sitters are in need for our area and requests for services began to flood in.  This is how Brauss House & Pet Sitting was formed.  

Karen Brown and Amy Schauss have lived in Tompkins County since 2008 where they share their space with 3 horses, 3 dogs and 5 cats.   They are dedicated to adopting rescue dogs and cats whenever possible.
